Global traveller and forest hunter, The Bird is a 15 year old Siberian cat with a love of snow, field mice, tiger prawns, and boxes of all shapes and sizes.
He has been by the side of Dr Meredith Wall through good times and bad. A loyal study buddy, Whirly has been an ongoing inspiration to improve the lives of cats around the world through better nutrition and health care. Every morning begins with The Bird jumping on to the duvet with an enthusiastic chirp, and with our sleepy reply of 'Hey Bird'.
